Suspect arrested for damages to seven cars on I-90 WB in Seattle
Request Free ConsultationSEATTLE, WA — A 41-year-old man was taken into custody Tuesday evening after seven cars were damaged due to rocks and debris thrown over Interstate 90 westbound in Seattle, according to Trooper Rick Johnson with Washington State Patrol.
Troopers responded to reports of rocks/debris being thrown at cars on WB I90 near Rainier Ave around 4 PM. In total 7 vehicles were struck. WSP was able to arrest a 31 year old Seattle male whom we believe is responsible. Here are some pictures of the damage to 2 cars. pic.twitter.com/nKUP6I3gwM

State troopers responded to the reports in the westbound lanes of I-90 near Rainier Avenue North at approximately 4:00 p.m.
No injuries were reported to the parties involved.
Images shared by Trooper Johnson show significant damages to the windshields of two vehicles caused by heavy objects thrown from an overpass.
The seven vehicles targeted Tuesday follow a recent trend of similar thrown-object incidents on the interstate, including one instance just two days prior and other instances involving injuries.
