SEATTLE, WA — A woman suffered injuries to an eye Sunday after a rock crashed through the window of a car on Interstate 90 in Seattle, according to KIRO 7 News.
The incident occurred on a stretch of I-90 westbound approaching the Interstate 5 and running under the Jose-Rizal Bridge. The woman was sitting next to the passenger side window where the rock came crashing through, which sent glass flying at her face.
Following the incident, the woman sought medical attention at Kaiser Permanente Urgent Care to remove tiny glass shards from her left eye.
Damages to the vehicle were assessed and police were alerted the next day.
This incident follows a series of recent events involving thrown objects over I-90, though no information regarding the specific person responsible for the incident has been reported.
