While investigating a car vs semi DUI collision near SR-512, a 3 car collision occurred in the backup. A Pickup was following too close and struck the rear of the pictured Jetta. The Jetta was pushed forward and struck a 3rd vehicle. Non injury! pic.twitter.com/lV5etl31A0— Trooper Ryan Burke (@wspd1pio) February 18, 2021
The WSP’s First District PIO reports that troopers responded to a possible DUI collision between a car and a semi, which caused traffic in the area to back up. A tailgating pickup truck then slammed into the rear of a Volkswagen Jetta as it slowed due to that backup, pushing it into a third vehicle.
Fortunately, no one seems to have been injured.
It is unclear whether the same is true for the initial car vs. semi collision.
