Woodinville, Washington – Minor Injuries In Incident Where Tree Fell onto Home at Northeast 175th Street

Woodinville, Washington (January 14, 2020) – A tree fell onto a residence on Northeast 175th Street on early Tuesday morning. According to the report from KIRO7, the crown of the tree broke into the bedroom, causing minor injuries to the homeowners. However, no one was reported to require hospitalization and the residents were expected to be okay. It is not yet clear if the incident will be causing the home to be unlivable.

The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. The trusses of the home prevented the tree from fully falling onto the structure. According to the report, the area had gotten 7 inches of snowfall recently, which caused an issue with snow weighing down trees and power lines, also causing power outages in the area.
