Woman rescued after single-vehicle crash on Mercer Island

MERCER ISLAND, WA – A woman was pulled from her vehicle after crashing on I-90 in Mercer Island late Sunday night.
According to KOMO, the accident took place at about 11 p.m. near the West Mercer Way overpass.
It is unclear exactly what caused the woman to lose control of her vehicle. However, she was pinned inside following the wreck.
Firefighters were able to extricate the 26-year-old woman from her vehicle. She was taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition.
