Woman killed in crash after suffering medical emergency near Interbay

SEATTLE, WA — A 34-year-old woman died early Friday after crashing her car during a medical episode near the Interbay neighborhood in Seattle, according to KOMO News.

The fatal collision occurred near the intersection of 15th Avenue West and West Garfield Street.

Seattle police say the woman died from her injuries at the scene. Her only passenger was not reported injured.

15th Avenue West was shut down in both directions as authorities responded to the scene.
