Woman found deceased inside burning vehicle in Buckley

BUCKLEY, WA – The Pierce County Sheriff’s Department confirmed that a woman was found dead in her car that caught on fire Monday morning, according to KOMO News.
Officials have not yet confirmed the cause of the fire or whether the woman was dead before the vehicle caught fire. Police and firefighters responded to the 28900 block of Sumner Buckley Highway East after receiving reports of a car fire around 8 a.m. Monday.
After firefighters extinguished the flames, they found the unidentified woman in the driver’s seat.
This incident is still under investigation.
