Wenatchee, Washington – Truck Collides with Several Fixed Objects, Crashes into Building

Wenatchee, Washington (July 14, 2019) – A truck caused property damage after colliding with several fixed objects on Mission Street before crashing into an apartment building at the intersection of North Mission Street and First Street. Fortunately, there were no injuries in the accident, and the driver has been put under arrest for investigation of DUI.

According to a report from a Wenatchee corporal, the truck was driving northbound on the sidewalk, crashing through signs, a utility pole, a tree and a light pole south of First Street. The truck ended up crashing into Mission Apartments, but the damage was said to be superficial and no tenants will have to relocate. Drug use is being considered as a factor in the crash. Power to intersection was out for several hours as crews worked to get stoplights back on.
