Walla Walla County teen killed in fiery crash with semi-truck on SR-730

WALLA WALLA COUNTY, WA – A teenager from Walla Walla County was killed in a fiery collision with a semi-truck near the Oregon State line on State Route 730 early yesterday morning, according to KOMO News.
The collision happened on SR-730, a mile east of the Oregon-Washington state line at 3:41 a.m., when 19-year-old Desmond Swenson-Leaks’ vehicle crossed over the center line. There, it collided head-on with a semi-truck, causing at least one of the vehicles to catch fire.
Swenson-Leaks was pronounced dead at the scene.
The truck driver was not hurt in the crash.
