USPS semi truck strikes, kills bicyclist in Georgetown

SEATTLE, WA – A bicyclist was fatally hit in the Georgetown neighborhood yesterday by a semi truck bearing United States Postal Service livery, KOMO News reports.
It seems that the truck’s driver was attempting to make a right turn on a red light from S Michigan Street onto Corson Avenue when they struck the cyclist, who died ad the scene. Neither person’s identity has been released.
Investigators do not suspect drugs or alcohol as contributing factors at this time.
