UPDATE: Pedestrian injured in Bellevue collision dies

BELLEVUE, WA – A 66-year-old man who was critically injured when he was struck by a pickup truck on Monday has succumbed to his injuries, Patch reports.
The Bellevue resident was attempting to cross Northeast 20th Street in the crosswalk when he was hit by a pickup turning left from 140th Avenue Northeast. The driver called for help and remained at the scene.
The accident marks the eighth fatal crash in Bellevue in the last 14 months, and the third since January.
Further details may be released pending an autopsy.
