Update: Coroner identifies family killed in mobile home fire

BENTON CITY, WA – The Benton County Coroner’s Office identified the mother and three children who died in a fatal fire that burned through their mobile home early Thursday morning.

According to KOMO News, the victims are Macaria Martinez-Garcia, 32; Luz Garcia-Martinez, 17; Luis Garcia-Martinez, 15; and Michelle Garcia-Martinez, 6. The family had only moved into the mobile home the day before the fire.

Benton City firefighters arrived at the home located in Green Acres Mobile Home Park just after 1 a.m. Thursday to find the house already engulfed in flames.

Officials are still investigating the cause of the fire.
