Two toddlers injured after DUI driver drags them under truck

KENT, WA – A 2-year-old and a 5-year-old were hurt after a suspected drunk driver hit and dragged them in the 19800 block of SE 281st Street in Kent.
KOMO News reports that the two toddlers were playing in a toy SUV outside their residence on Tuesday when a 26-year-old in a pickup truck ran over them and dragged the toy car several feet. The children were taken to Harborview Medical Center in an unknown condition.
Authorities later located the driver, who had fled the scene, and arrested him.
