MOSES LAKE, WA – A 21-year-old woman and 19-year-old man are in jail after stealing two vehicles and leading police on a high-speed chase Sunday morning.

A witness reported the suspects pushing a car, which was later discovered to be stolen out of Moses Lake, in the city of George at 4 a.m. Sunday.

The Ephrata Police Department located the suspects driving another stolen vehicle at 4:30 a.m. on Dodson Road. When police attempted to pull the car over, the suspects fled, leading police on a chase at over 100 mph, according to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office.

The two suspects drove the stolen vehicle into oncoming traffic, forcing the police to temporarily halt their chase.

Later, Grant County Sheriff Deputies located the stolen vehicle and again attempted to pull it over. Again, the suspects sped from authorities at over 100 mph.

The pursuit ended when the stolen vehicle drove into an irrigation ditch off 5 NW and Division Road N. The suspects were taken into custody without injuries.
