ROY, WA (PIERCE COUNTY) – Two people were killed when a pickup truck crashed into the side of a sedan in a rainy-weather crash east of Yelm yesterday afternoon, according to KOMO News.
The crash happened at about 1 p.m. on State Route 702, near 8th Avenue E.
A beige sedan, which had clear tape as a makeshift solution for a missing window, pulled onto SR-702, in front of a Chevrolet pickup truck headed westbound. The pickup then collided with the side of the sedan.
Authorities believe that the driver of the sedan had low visibility due to the rainy weather and the missing window.
Two people in the sedan died as a result of the collision.
The occupants of the pickup truck were not hurt.
The identities of the victims were not made immediately available.
