MAPLE VALLEY, WA (KING COUNTY) – A multi-vehicle collision involving a deer in Maple Valley last night led to two people being injured, according to KIRO 7 News.

The collision occurred in Maple Valley, located about 9 miles east of Kent, the 18000 block of Maple Valley Highway at about 8 p.m. when between five to six cars collided with a deer.

One person was seriously hurt as a result, and another victim suffered minor injuries in the collision.

Authorities advised travelers that traffic delays in the area were likely.

The fate of the deer is unknown at this time, though judging by the damage caused to at least one of the vehicles, it is unlikely that it survived the crash.

This is one in a series of reports provided by Caffee Law as a service to inform our Seattle neighbors about traffic news and accidents in the area.
