Troopers respond to 2-car serious injury collision near Sandy Shore

SANDY SHORE, WA – Washington State Troopers responded to an accident on eastbound State Route 104 just east of Sandy Shore on Wednesday afternoon.
#JeffersonCounty: EB SR 104 just east of Sandy Shore is blocked due to a 2-car, serious injury collision. #WSP troopers, fire & aid are on scene tending to those involved.
Traffic is being alternated using the WB lane. Please #SlowDown & #BePatient if you are in the area.

According to WSP Trooper Chelsea Hodgson, the accident happened around 3:30 p.m. and left at least one person seriously injured. The eastbound lanes of SR 104 were blocked while first responders treated those involved.
Traffic used the westbound lane to get by.
