Traffic News: Highway 99 Tunnel closes for maintenance

SEATTLE, WA – The Highway 99 Tunnel will close for maintenance tonight starting at 9 p.m. It will reopen tomorrow at 4 a.m.
Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes if possible.
The Highway 99 Tunnel was officially opened in February 2019, and began charging tolls that November. Rates for two-axle vehicles range from $1 to $2.25 for users with Good to Go accounts and $3 to $4.25 for motorists paying by mail. Toll rates will increase in 2022.
