Three people airlifted with serious injuries after collision on US 101

TACOMA, WA – Three people were airlifted from a serious injury collision on US Highway 101 near Eagle Point Drive on Saturday night.
Washington State Trooper Chelsea Hodgson reported that the accident was caused by a vehicle turning onto US 101 from Eagle Point Dr without looking for oncoming vehicles. That driver pulled into the path of an oncoming northbound vehicle, which collided with them.

The crash was caused by a driver pulling onto US 101 from Eagle Point Drive into the path of a northbound vehicle.
Two occupants were airlifted with serious injuries.

The accident happened around 8 p.m. Saturday. US 101 near Eagle Point Dr was closed for several hours while Troopers investigated.
