PASCO, WA — A 17-year-old boy was seriously injured Sunday night when he was run over and dragged twenty feet by a car at a Holiday Inn Express parking lot in Pasco, according to KOMO News.

Police initially responded to a disturbance call about drunk teenagers at the hotel’s parking lot on Convention Place not far off US Route 182. They arrived to find a boy with injuries from car-surfing and a teenage girl who appeared to be inebriated behind the wheel.

Authorities said the boy had allegedly attempted to car-surf after climbing to the top of the girl’s car, and had likely fallen off. Going off the presented physical evidence, police also said the boy looked to have been run over and dragged twenty feet by the car.

The boy, whose injuries were considered non-life-threatening, was treated at the scene along with another injured teenager and was taken to a hospital for further medical attention.

The driver has since been booked into juvenile detention and faces charges for suspicion of vehicular assault and DUI.

Authorities have also identified these teenagers in connection with another assault earlier the same evening.
