Tacoma Fire Dept responds to fire at under-construction house

TACOMA, WA – The Tacoma Fire Department responded to a fire in a residential neighborhood on Sunday morning, later determining that the house was unoccupied and under construction.
It has been determined by personnel on scene that the house was under construction. The fire is under control and the incident commander has requested an investigator.

Fire crews arrived on the scene of S 25th and I Streets around 10:30 a.m. Sunday. By 10:45, crews had knocked the fire down and had it under control.
According to tweets, the department’s incident commander has requested an investigation into the cause of the fire.
