Subaru attempts U-turn on highway, collides with oncoming van

SNOHOMISH, WA – A Subaru attempted to make a U-turn on US Highway 2 near Three Lakes Road and collided with a van coming from the other direction on Wednesday morning.

According to State Trooper Axtman, the crash blocked US 2 entirely while crews cleared the scene and police investigated. A photo from the scene shows the silver Subaru with frontend damage and the white van on its side on the embankment. The photo appears to show firemen working to extract a person from the van. Trooper Axtman did not confirm any injuries.
