SR 26 at SR 243 fully blocked due to jackknifed 18-wheeler

MATTAWA, WA – A jackknifed 18-wheeler fully blocked both directions of State Route 26 at State Route 243 on Thursday morning, according to the Washington State Patrol.
#beadvised – EB SR 26 OFF SR 243 (1 mile south of the Vantage Bridge in Grant Co) is fully blocked due to a semi jack-knifed on SR 26. Traffic is able to pass on the shoulder.

WSP Trooper John Bryant reported the incident at 11:38 a.m. via Twitter. No injuries were reported. Traffic was able to pass on the shoulder of SR 26, but travelers were warned to keep clear of the area.
The roadway was cleared by about noon on Thursday.
