South County Fire responds to house fire in Edmonds’ Westgate neighborhood

EDMONDS, WA – A two-story home caught fire Monday evening in the Westgate neighborhood of Edmonds, but no one was injured and the house sustained only minimal damage.

According to My Edmonds News, the fire started around 9 p.m. at the 9300 block of 220th Street Southwest.

Fire crews were able to quickly extinguish the flames, which started on the back deck, preventing the fire from spreading inside the house.

Fire investigators are still analyzing the scene to determine the cause of the fire.
