Shoreline, Washington (May 6, 2019) – A motorcyclist died from his injuries after colliding with a car at 145th Street Northeast and 17th Avenue Northeast on Monday night. The victim, identified as Jason C. Yu of Bothell, was taken to Harborview Medical Center after the accident, however, he was pronounced dead in the hospital. The driver of the car was not injured.

According to the police, the victim was heading east on 145th Street Northeast on his motorcycle. he was reportedly speeding and weaving in and out of traffic before he struck the car being driven by a 52 year-old woman from Seattle. The accident closed down the road from 15th to 20th as investigation was carried out.

Be especially cautious when driving at night, as with any other vehicle. Any mistakes in judgement can lead to accidents, injuries and damage not only to your person, but on other people as well.
