Sheriff’s Deputy injured when suspect hits patrol car head-on

SEABECK, WA – A Kitsap County Sheriff’s Deputy was injured when a suspect rammed his patrol car on Peter-Hagen Road on Wednesday, KOMO reports.
According to KOMO, the suspect stole the vehicle from a neighbor before hitting the patrol car head-on, then fleeing. The suspect, a 50-year-old unidentified man, then led police on a chase.
First responders took the deputy to St. Michael’s Medical Center, where he was treated and later released. Police eventually stopped the suspect and took him into the Kitsap County jail.
