Semi-truck jackknifes, spills fuel on I-5 in Marysville
Request Free ConsultationMARYSVILLE, WA – A semi-truck jackknifed on Interstate 5 near 88th Street Northeast on Wednesday due to driver fatigue, spilling 50-80 gallons of fuel onto the road.
According to KOMO News, the semi-truck driver fell asleep at the wheel and veered into the right shoulder before crashing. The Washington Department of Ecology cleaned the oil off the road. No injuries were reported.
All lanes of the interstate were blocked while crews worked to clear the scene.
