Semi truck accident closes 3 lanes of I-90 at WA-18

SNOQUALMIE, WA – A fiery semi crash blocked three lanes of westbound traffic on I-90 east of WA-18 this morning, per the WSDOT incident feed.

Firefighters and State Patrol officers arrived at the scene at 8:45 a.m. It remains unclear what caused the collision, or how many vehicles were involved.
Authorities had the blaze under control by 9:15 a.m. A passenger from the semi truck was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for treatment.
A detour was in place by 10 a.m., and a lane of the interstate had been cleared by 11:36 a.m.
