Sedan crashes on top of motorcycle, resulting in serious injury

UNIVERSITY PLACE, WA – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after colliding with a sedan at the 7900 block of Cirque Drive West last Saturday night.
South Sound News reported that officials arrived on the scene just after 9 p.m. to find the sedan had come to a stop on top of the overturned motorcycle, with the motorcyclist seriously injured in the roadway.
University Place Deputies are investigating the cause of this accident. The unidentified motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital’s trauma center in serious condition. Officials have not said whether speed, alcohol, or drugs were factors in this accident.
