Seattle, Washington (May 17, 2019) – Three vessels and an adjacent pier were damaged by a fire that happened on Friday morning. Fortunately there have been no reports of injuries from the incident.
The fire first broke out on a cruise ship tender and spread to two other vessels. No one was on the tender when the fire started. At least one of the boats were totaled in the fire. People in a nearby office building were also evacuated due to the smoke and flames. The cause is under investigation, but the fire appears to be accidental.
