Seattle FD rescues one person trapped in SE Seattle car crash

SEATTLE, WA – At least one person was trapped within the wreckage of a car accident in southeast Seattle early Saturday morning, according to the Seattle Fire Department.

The crash happened at the intersection of S Elmgrove Street and Rainier Avenue S in the Rainier Valley neighborhood in southeast Seattle and was reported by Seattle FD at 1:24 a.m.
At least one person was trapped in the wreckage of the crash, though authorities did not release the identity or condition of the victim.
It is unclear at this time how many vehicles were involved in the accident.
