Renton police respond to accident at Oakesdale & SW 34th

RENTON, WA – Police responded to a car vs. semi accident at the intersection of Oakesdale Avenue SW and SW 34th Street yesterday afternoon.
According to the official Twitter account of the Renton Police Department, the collision happened sometime before 2:36 p.m. on March 24 and involved a passenger vehicle and a semi truck. Authorities advised motorists to avoid the area if possible, and eventually reopened the intersection at about 3:30 p.m.
We do not know whether anyone was injured at this time, or what may have led up to the crash. However, we will continue to follow this story and report updates as we get them.
