Renton Police, K-9 Unit seek suspect in hit-and-run collision

RENTON, WA – Renton Police officers are searching for a suspect wanted in connection with a hit-and-run accident involving a stolen vehicle on Wednesday.

Please be advised officers around Benson Dr S & S 16th St looking for a suspect in a hit and run collision with a stolen vehicle. K9 track is being initiated. Please stay out of the area. /wh

Renton police reported via Twitter on Wednesday morning that they deployed K-9 units to assist with tracking down the suspect. The hit-and-run happened near the intersection of Benson Dr S & S 16th St. No injuries were reported. The suspect was driving a stolen vehicle at the time of the collision.
