Puyallup, Washington – One Dead After Being Struck by Train

Puyallup, Washington (February 9, 2020) – One person died after getting struck by a train in the area of the 600 block of East Pioneer on Sunday evening. According to the report from KOMO News, the crew of the northbound passenger train contacted police around 8:45 p.m. to report that their train had struck something. Responding officers found the body of the victim in the area. It is believed that the victim had been sitting on the tracks and was under a sleeping bag when he was struck. No other injuries occurred in the incident.
