Poulsbo brush fire temporarily shuts down part of State Route 3

POULSBO, WA – Part of southbound State Route 3 was shut down Tuesday afternoon while fire crews worked to contain a brush fire burning along the highway.
#KitsapCounty: the right lane of SB SR 3 near Sherman Hill (MP 49) south of #Poulsbo is blocked due to a brush fire.
Fire crews and #WSP troopers are at the scene. Please be patient and #StayAlert if you are in the area.

Washington State Trooper Chelsea Hodgson reported the road closure and brush fire via Twitter at 2:30 p.m.
No one was injured in this brush fire, but southbound traffic was forced to squeeze through the left lane while firefighters worked on the right lane.
