TUKWILA, WA – The hunt is underway for the woman who caused the 12-care pileup on WA-599 Friday morning and then fled the scene, KOMO reports.
The incident occurred shortly before 6 a.m. on February 22, north of where 599 meets I-5, when an unidentified female driver attempted to pass between a semi and another vehicle. The woman got out of her vehicle and fled the scene on foot; police believe she was picked up by another vehicle.

Trooper Rick Johnson, PIO of the Washington State Patrol’s Second District, said the perpetrator will likely face charges including felony hit-and-run.
