SEATTLE, WA – The Washington State Patrol has released additional information about the tractor-trailer rollover that blocked traffic on westbound I-90 at Rainier Avenue yesterday.
According to a WSP press memo, the incident happened shortly after 1:30 p.m. on February 8, 2021. Jose L. Ayaladelgado, 39, was driving a semi truck in the middle lane of westbound I-90 when he lost control of the vehicle, which overturned and came to a rest blocking all five lanes. It took responders two hours and forty-six minutes to clear the wreck from the roadway.
Emergency responders transported Ayaladelgado to Harborview Medical Center with unspecified injuries. It does not appear as though anyone else was injured.
