MARYSVILLE, WA — On Tuesday evening police were in pursuit of a man who crashed his truck in Tacoma and stole a Toyota Prius, leading them on a chase to Marysville, King 5 reports.

The man was originally driving a truck on southbound Interstate 5 well above the speed limit. One of his vehicle’s tires blew out, blocking two lanes of traffic just north of Joint Base Lewis-McChord.

At this point, the Washington State Patrol says the man left his truck and forced a woman from her Prius after she stopped to avoid crashing into his truck. He then drove the Prius south into Thurston County.

The suspect then made his way to I-5 northbound, where officers followed him for 80 miles. He eventually collided with another vehicle near Marysville, and was taken into custody.

No one appears to have been hurt.
