Pickup hauling trailer loses control, rolls before catching fire on US 2

GOLD BAR, WA – A pickup truck pulling a construction trailer crashed on Highway 2 last Thursday, seriously injuring two occupants and causing the vehicle to catch fire.

Washington State Trooper Axtman reported via Twitter that witnesses rescued the truck’s occupants before the truck caught fire. Highway 2 was closed in both directions near milepost 34 while WSP investigated.
