Person arrested for DUI after colliding with tree and sign on 50th St

SEATTLE, WA – One person was arrested for DUI after crashing into a sign and a tree on 50th Street late Monday night, according to the Seattle Police Department.
The crash occurred in the 1600 block of N 50th Street at about 11:05 p.m., when a driver collided with a sign and then a tree. The car then overturned.
Traffic was shut down in both directions for over an hour following the collision.
The driver was then taken into police custody for driving while under the influence.
It is unclear if anyone was injured in the crash.
