Pedestrian struck by train in Kent, police investigating

KENT, WA – Police are investigating an incident in which a train hit a pedestrian near James St. and Central Ave. on Thursday night, according to Kent Police.
Kent Police are investigating a Train vs. pedestrian collision. James St. at Central is closed and will remain closed for at least an hour. Please use S. 212th St. or Smith St. to get around the collision. Will update when roadway is open. pic.twitter.com/AZh1Ud1h8r

Officials reported that the intersection of James St. at Central Ave. was closed while they investigated. It is not clear whether the pedestrian sustained any serious injuries.
