Pedestrian hurt in Metro bus crash near Renton Village shopping center

KING COUNTY, WA — One person was injured Thursday night after a pedestrian accident involving a Metro Transit bus near a major shopping center in Renton, according to Renton Police Department.

Officers responded to the scene at the intersection of South Grady Way and Lake Avenue South shortly after 8:00 p.m.

Congestion was expected in the area during the response.

Authorities have not released additional details on the condition of the injured pedestrian or the events leading up to the accident.
