Pedestrian fatally struck near Boeing Field in Seattle

SEATTLE, WA — A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle early Thursday morning in an area just south of Boeing Field in Seattle.

The incident occurred around 3:00 a.m. near Airport Way South and South Norfolk Street, as first reported by the Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT).

Seattle police were called to the scene and closed down the road to investigate for many hours.

All southbound lanes and one northbound lane along Airport Way South have since reopened around 6:15 a.m., according to an update by SDOT.
