Passenger killed after car crashes into tree in Snohomish County

PAINE FIELD-LAKE STICKNEY, WA (SNOHOMISH COUNTY) – A man is facing charges and a 39-year-old woman is dead after their vehicle crashed into a tree in Snohomish County last night.

According to KOMO News, the accident happened southwest of Everett in the Paine Field-Lake Stickney area, at the intersection of 126th St SW and E Gibson Rd.

At about 9:30 p.m., a 44-year-old driver suspected of being under the influence drove off the side of Gibson and crashed into a tree.

A passenger died as a result of the collision.

The crash remains under investigation at this time.
