Passenger in vehicle crash needed to be extricated by Seattle Fire

SEATTLE, WA – One person was safely extricated by Seattle Fire after a two-vehicle collision on I-5 near the Rainier Brewery Wednesday afternoon.

The accident occurred on northbound Interstate 5 near the Rainier Brewery, just north of the West Seattle Bridge, at 3:52 p.m.
Three left lanes of the interstate were blocked while crews worked to clear the scene and rescue the trapped passenger.
No other injuries were reported and it is not clear what caused the accident.
