One person killed in Lynnwood after suspected DUI crash

LYNNWOOD, WA — One person has died in a suspected DUI crash late Monday night in Lynnwood, according to KIRO 7 News.
The incident occurred on Highway 99 a little north of State Route 525 just before 12:00 a.m. midnight.
A passenger in one of the involved cars was killed.
Washington State Patrol troopers said the causing driver is suspected to have been impaired at the time and was arrested for investigation into possible vehicular homicide.
The crash caused both lanes along State Route 99 northbound to shut down as officers investigated.
