One injured in vehicle crash near north Seattle’s Broadview area

SEATTLE, WA — One person was hurt Wednesday afternoon in a vehicle collision near north Seattle’s Broadview neighborhood, reports Seattle Fire Department.
Seattle Fire crews responded to the scene at the intersection of 8th Avenue Northwest and Northwest 127th Street shortly before 3:21 p.m.
Crews on scene at 8th Ave Nw / Nw 127th St for a vehicle collision with one person trapped requiring extrication. Patient is in stable condition. Avoid area and take alternate routes.

It is unclear what led up to the accident or how many vehicles were involved, but firefighters had to perform a rescue extrication for one occupant trapped in their vehicle.
The victim was reported to be in stable condition upon their removal from the wreck. Authorities did not confirm whether or not the person was taken to a hospital.
Motorists were instructed to detour around the area during the response.
