SEATTLE, WA — A driver was injured Thursday after hitting a power pole and crashing into a residence in the Sand Point neighborhood of Seattle, according to KOMO News.

Seattle Fire crews said the woman was hurt in the pole collision moments before the car accelerated into the home. She was transported to a nearby hospital.
Few other details have been reported on the incident, but the first crash caused live wires to fall across the street.
It is unclear whether other passengers were in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
