One hospitalized after Tacoma house fire

TACOMA, WA — One person sustained injuries following a house fire Sunday morning in Tacoma, according to KIRO 7 News.
Firefighters arrived to a scene of smoke and flames at the 600 block of South G Street around 8:00 a.m.
Officials say one person was treated on scene and then transported to the hospital for minor injuries. No other injuries have been reported.
Fire crews say they were able to extinguish the fire after being having to cut a hole in the roof for ventilation.
An investigation into the fire’s cause is ongoing.
