One hospitalized after multi-vehicle crash on I-5 near Kent’s Star Lake

KING COUNTY, WA — One person was hospitalized Thursday afternoon after a multi-vehicle crash that hurt two others on Interstate 5 near Kent’s Star Lake area, reports KIRO 7 News.
Authorities said the wreck happened on the southbound interstate just past 272nd Street.
It is unclear what led up to the crash or exactly how many vehicles were involved, but two occupants were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Medics transported one other person to a local hospital. The severity of their condition remains undisclosed.
Three right lanes were projected to remain closed for an extended time as authorities conducted an investigation.
